Cleaning Brass Pots and Pans

Cleaning Brass Pots and Pans

Cleaning beautiful brass cookware does not need to involve toxic chemicals or cleaners.  The simplest way to clean this metal is with stuff you probably already have in your kitchen.  It does take a little elbow grease the first time, but after that it gets much easier with consistent care of your cookware.

Heres how:

Take your pan and sprinkle in a generous amount of coarse salt (table salt will work if that is all you have laying around).

Cut a lemon in half and use it like a scrubber, using the salt as an abrasive.

That’s it, just keep scrubbing until the pan is nice and shiny!
